Hi! 2025 is coming to an end and, thanks to the holidays, I had more time to work on a larger update for Dorotea and my website.

Before showing you the changelog, I wanted to show you two things:

I know, I know. I say it in every post and I’ll keep saying it: THANK YOU!

This project was created with passion: passion for video games, for content creation, and for my city. Seeing all of this returned by both players and content creators is an honor that fills my heart with happiness.

Honestly, I never expected so many positive reviews or so many people to add my game to their list of "favorite games."

I’ve also seen people interested in visiting my city thanks to my game. Thinking that I might have made even a small contribution to my city fills me with pride.

I finally made the "Lore and making of" page in english!

This page was previously only available in italian. Now I translated the page in english so more of you can read about the references, the story and the making of my game.

Is Dorotea a complete game?

Inside the "Lore and making of" article ( https://www.pasquiindustry.com/dorotea-lore-en/ ), I explained that you can consider Dorotea a complete game, however there's more to show, so be sure to read that article and follow me to be notified about new apps and games

Also, I may try to release the game on other platforms, including MacOS, Linux and Android.

Dorotea v1.1 changelog

- The Super Game Boy is now supported! If played on a Super Game Boy, the game will display a customized frame and have better colors.

- Massively improved the support for the original monochrome DMG Game Boy. Previously there were some glitches with portraits and dialogues. The Game Boy Color is still the best platform to play my game.

- Better dialogues. My english is not perfect, so I tried to review all the dialogues and made some improvements. I also changed and added some new lines. Nothing that changes the story, don't worry.

- New light effect in the "escape" scene. It's also a little bit more difficult to complete.

- New intro. Now the instructions are on the first screen, with clearer information.

- Better sound effects and music compression

- Fixed some other minor issues

Salve! Il 2025 sta volgendo al termine e, grazie alle vacanze, ho avuto più tempo libero per lavorare ad un aggiornamento di Dorotea e del mio sito web personale.

Questo progetto è stato creato con passione: passione per i videogiochi, per la creazione e per la mia città. Vedere che tutto ciò viene ricambiato anche dai giocatori e dai content creator è un onore che mi riempie il cuore di felicità.
Sinceramente, non mi sarei mai aspettato così tante recensioni positive e così tante persone che hanno inserito il mio gioco nella lista dei propri "giochi preferiti".
Ho visto anche persone interessate a visitare la mia città grazie al mio gioco. Pensare che potrei aver dato un piccolo contributo al territorio mi riempie di orgoglio.

Nuovo trailer del gioco

Una delle cose che mancava era effettivamente un trailer video del gioco. L'ho finalmente realizzato e pubblicato.

Oltre a Dorotea, ho lavorato molto sul mio sito web. Ora ha una nuova veste grafica, è più bella esteticamente ed è più leggibile.

Novità nell'articolo sui riferimenti storici e il dietro le quinte sul gioco

Diversi content creator che hanno mostrato il mio gioco hanno apprezzato molto la pagina che trattava della storia e del making-of del gioco.

Grazie al nuovo sito web, ne ho approfittato per aggiornare la pagina, migliorandone l'italiano e inserendo nuove informazioni

Ma Dorotea è un gioco completo?

Sempre qui https://www.pasquiindustry.com/dorotea-lore-it/ ho scritto un paragrafo riguardo il futuro del gioco.

Risposta breve: sì, il gioco è completo, ma non la sua storia. Vi invito a seguirmi sui vari social per rimanere aggiornati riguardo nuove app e giochi.

Inoltre, sto pianificando di rilasciare Dorotea anche su altre piattaforme come Linux, MacOS e Android

Le novità di Dorotea v1.1

- Aggiunto il supporto al Super Game Boy! Quando giocherete Dorotea sull'add-on per Super Nintendo, vedrete una cornice disegnata ad-hoc e colori migliorati

- Migliorato di molto il supporto al primo Game Boy monocromatico. Nello specifico, ho risolto quei fastidiosi glitch nei dialoghi e nelle foto dei personaggi

- Dialoghi migliorati. Ho voluto migliorare alcune linee di dialogo. Il dialetto è più facile da leggere, ci sono meno refusi e, in generale, i dialoghi sono più omogenei e meno dialettali. Non ci sono state modifiche alla storia o retcon

- Nuova intro. Ora le istruzioni sono subito disponibili come prima schermata, con informazioni più chiare e dirette.

- Effetti sonori migliorati.

- Risolti altri errori minori
